Green means that I 100% accomplished my goal.
Yellow means that I was pretty close to getting there but was just shy of my goal.
Red means that I did not accomplish my goal. Like...at all.
Last Week's Goals:
1.) Stay under my calorie goal every day. This goal probably isn't going to change anytime soon.
Don't give up on me yet! Yesterday was Easter and Easter and I did not get along on the calorie counting. My mama-in-law makes some KILLER food.
2.) Take Henry's Easter photos. I'm stumped as to what to do, but if I don't do them this week, they're not really Easter photos anymore.
3.) Put together an Easter basket for the niece and nephew and get Henry's basket ready for the link-up this week.
Done! Funny thing though, I totally forgot to bring my niece and nephew's baskets to the Easter party. Total FAIL on my part.
4.) Shampoo the bedroom carpets. Puke. I will do it...I think.
Why do I hate this this much?? One of these days, I will get around to it...
5.) Do something special for both Henry and Jeremy this week.
I took Henry to the park this week, let him play in the backyard several times for the first time since last fall and gave him a TON of candy yesterday...but I'm not sure those count as 'special'. Jeremy and I are really, really trying to get pregnant right now...so he's getting something special every 2 or 3 days. ;) But again, I'm not sure that counts either.
This Week's Goals:
1.) Stay under my calorie goal every day and lose those remaining 2.4 pounds this week in order to be down 20.
2.) Finish painting Henry's room. It's done, I just need to go back and do a few little touch-ups before the carpet is put down on Sunday. We're thinking of replacing the trim as well, so that is probably going to need to be painted as well.
3.) Don't forget anything super important at the grocery this week. I don't know what's gotten into me, but we're about out of toilet paper and I'm not sure Henry's going to have enough milk to get him through to Wednesday, which is when I usually go. My mind is apparently already on vacation.
4.) Shampoo the bedroom carpet. Do I really want to set this goal again? I really feel like there's no way I'm going to do it. If I make my hubby do it, does that count?
5.) Finish at least one 'to-do' on my 'to-do' list this week. Maybe get the garden bed ready?
You have some big goals this week!! Good luck!
ReplyDeleteAlso...I love the picture of Henry. :)

I've already failed at #3! I need big goals to push me through these next 10 days. Seriously. It's that bad..
DeleteI am ALWAYS forgetting a grocery store item. And going back is such a pain. I need to make this a goal for myself, especially since we're headed to get groceries today.
ReplyDeleteGood luck with the rest of your goals!
I definitely forgot q-tips when I went today. I always forget something, it never fails. Groceries and laundry - the never ending cycles!
DeleteI also always forget something at the grocery store, even if I do make a list. It makes me so mad to go home and immediately start a new list!
ReplyDeleteMe too!
DeleteI love these link up ideas. And great for you for setting goals. I have so much on my to-do list that it seems like nothing ever gets done. I like the idea of setting weekly goals!!
ReplyDeleteI like this idea! It seems much more manageable than New Year's Resolutions and you take more immediate responsibility for it, too.
