I mentioned in this post that the only photography that you should compare yours to is your own. I wanted to show you what I mean with my own photography.
Let's start with portraits.
This was my first 'gig', my brother's senior photos. This was taken in 2009 and while I don't think it's horrible, it's far from a professional quality. I'm pretty sure at this point I just owned a point and shoot...
2011
Early 2012
Mid 2012
2013
Then comes the newborns.
2011
These are all 2012, in order from earliest to latest.
Then there are family shots.
Both 2011.
2012
Last there are engagements, couples, and weddings.
Both 2011.
2012
I still have so much to learn and so far to go and to grow, but when I look back to where I started, it's really a world of difference!
Amazing! I wish you lived closer I would have to take photos for us. You are so incredibly talented.
ReplyDeleteThat would be so fun! You two are such a gorgeous couple!
DeleteYour photos are all awesome, but it's so much fun to see how they have evolved!
ReplyDeleteThanks Desiree!
DeleteThese are beautiful, Jenn. I can definitely see how much your skills have evolved. I'm hoping mine continue to evolve as well. It's such a fun and rewarding passion.
ReplyDeleteAnd I just have to say that I love that one of the little girl wrapped in an American flag. I am a patriotic nut so those types of photos always get me going!!
I'm glad that someone else can see it. It's hard sometimes to see how much things have grown.
DeleteSuch a fun post, it is definitely interesting to compare photographs over the years!
ReplyDeleteIt really is!
