So What!

So What Wednesday

It's been awhile since I've linked up for a SWW, and I'm feeling the need to brain dump, so hold on tight!

So What! if:

-Jeremy and I are almost into the 3rd season of our Dawson's Creek marathon. We've been considering offing the cable for awhile now but can never pull the trigger. I think the fact that we haven't watched one bit of cable television for a month is a sure sign that it's time for it to go.

-If the theme song for DC doesn't change soon, I may go crazy.

-I'm a little angered by the fact that I had NO idea that 90210 was ending. I have ONE more episode left, ONE. I at least feel a little prepared to say goodbye to The Office, but I had NO idea until this week that 90210 was done.

-My brain is apparently all TV related today.

-Henry still isn't talking. I sincerely believe that he just doesn't want to. He understands and responds to everything we say, can point out just about every object in his 'first 100 words' book, and jibber jabbers like a fool. He'll talk when he's ready and I don't think it's an issue yet.

-It's 8 a.m. and we have to leave for a funeral in an hour but I'm writing this blog and the boys are still in bed.  Better late than never, right?

-My ankle is still not better. I don't know what to do about it. I fear that The Color Run is going to be out of the question if it doesn't start getting better soon.

-I am nervous about going to the gym. I made a commitment for a 'gym night' with one of my good friends. I always feel like people look and stare at the 'fat girl' when I go public places to work out.

-I've sucked on my diet lately, but I haven't really gained any weight back. It's no excuse, but life has been hectic. I promise to get back on track 100% by the end of this week.

-There's pretty much no food in our house and we've been eating whatever we can come up with. Perhaps I'll go to the dreaded grocery later today.

-I bought my own mother's day gift. I called Jeremy and told him that I was doing so, because I knew what I wanted and I didn't want him to have to try to think something up at the last minute. I am now the proud owner of a pretty new watch. Thanks hunnie. =)

  1. I'm SUPER sad about the office. That damn ankle of yours! And don't worry about the diet.... summers are too much fun to worry about what we're eating. :)

  2. I didn't realize your ankle wasn't getting better. I hope it mends quickly! The Color Run is too much fun to sit out on.
Is it bad that I emailed Marcus a list of Mother's Day gift ideas, but the email went to Scott's account? Hehe. :)

    1. Desiree, I am CRACKING up that you sent Marcus a gift list to Scott's email. That is the funniest thing I have read all day!

    1. That's how Henry is! He grunts and whines to get what he wants. I've tried to 'make' him talk by ignoring his other signals, but it just doesn't work.

  5. So sorry your ankle isn't better yet. Praying it heals soon. And don't worry about the TV shows ... My husband and I were absolutely obsessed with 24 for a long time. We watched each season in like a week's time. Yikes!!

    1. We did something similar one summer before Henry. It was horrible, but it also kept us entertained for cheap for weeks.

  6. I remember being worried about my son not saying words either. He didn't talk until he was almost 2. When we started weaning him off his pacifier, that's when he started talking!
