Create Themes

Hey Mamas, could you do me a big favor and answer these two questions for me?

{ONE}

If you were to take your child to one themed mini-session for portraits, what would that theme be?

{TWO}

If you could create your own unique theme, no matter how crazy, extreme, or suited to your individual style it may be, what theme would you create?

I thank you in advance.

  1. I really wish I could get some pictures of Parker playing with some baby chicks or bunnies! I've seen a few of those around and they are SO cute. I don't know anyone offering the baby animals in pictures though. But it's such an adorable Easter/Spring theme.

  2. Themes aren't something I usually think of - my style tends to be more basic/classic portraiture with a simple prop here and there. But I have definitely thought about themes before and also love when photographers do really whimsical/imaginative over the top but still classic stuff. It's really hard to put into words what I'm trying to say. ;) Just something that captures the magic of childhood. If I could create my own theme, it would be something like a cardboard boat in the middle of a soybean field with my boys inside fighting like pirates with wooden toy swords. Not that I've ever thought about this or anything, ;)

  3. I'd likely go for a spring/Easter theme. There is something so fun about the colors of spring (pastels), and the newness of the season (baby animals).
    If we were planning our own theme it would probably be something Mickey Mouse, or beach-y!
